About The Event
Hailing from former mining villages around South & West Yorkshire. Civic Green's no nonsense, driven, distinguished sound shows maturity beyond their years. The bands debut singles "There Is Always A Light" and "City Streets" in 2020, established the band as one of the UK's most exciting unsigned acts with widespread international airplay.
They followed up the tracks in 2022 with their debut 5 track E.P "Sailing The River", amplifying their sound to another level with orchestral backing. It has been described as one of the best debut E.P's by multiple music outlets.
In March '23 the group played their stadium debut pre-match at Oakwell in Barnsley, UK. Following this, the band went and recorded two songs for 2023, 'Better The Devil You Know' & 'Time'.
