Hailing from Cardiff, Wales, Kurios Oranj are a teenage rock ‘n’ roll trio. Recorded with veteran producer Frank Naughton at his Ty Drwg Studio in Cardiff’s Grangetown, the band’s debut EP, Freshly Squeezed, burns with overdriven angst and irreverent intensity, merging rambunctious songcraft with the irresistible sound of classic indie rock to create a breakneck pop scuzz all their own. Kurios Oranj have lit up stages in their home country – including Wales’ famed Green Man Festival – and the Netherlands, earning applause for their distorted power and highwire hooks.
