“HAAST finally unveils their new album. Dreams of Home is a sprawling, riff-heavy statement. Drawing on their doom and grunge roots established on 2021’s Made of Light, this record pushes deeper into post-metal and progressive territory. The album is rhythmically and lyrically complex, packed with vocally lush hooks which hit hard and linger.
HAAST is a South Wales-based band which blends metal, post-rock, grunge and doom into cinematic, vocally driven songs charged with contrasts and dynamics. Crushing weight and symphonic atmosphere intertwine in the songs where monolithic riffs and cerebral, melodic hooks meld organically. The band is known for accomplished live performances with a memorable set ArcTanGent Festival being a highlight.”
