Francis Rees
“The newly reformed Welsh language experimental ambient Euro-pop group Francis Rees are about to make their mark on the Welsh music scene with their lush synth production paired with hypnotic harmonies.
Consisting of Beth Pugh (vocalist, production), and new members Bethan Ruth (vocalist, bass, production) and Ceirios [SURNAME] (guitar, production), Francis Rees is a project encapsulating the dreamy and liminal states of synth layered pop music. With songs entirely written, arranged and produced by the members themselves, it presents a refreshed perspective on the future of Welsh pop which has been insistently been dominated by indie rock. Alongside a new wave of experimental Welsh music artists, their music stands for an undefinable movement, providing accessibility to genres previously unheard within the scene.
