The Indie-Punk outfit that is CHERYM, are among the new school of queer rockers that have taken the world by storm. Starting out as a kick-back against the local music scene boys club, their relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy encapsulates who they are as people, and as a ferocious live act. The band's authenticity shines through in their music as they look within themselves for inspiration, only to realise what they have experienced, so many of their fans and peers have experienced as well, resonating so powerfully with their music.

Bugeye

Bugeye is an indie rock band hailing from Croydon, South London, known for their infectious blend of punk, disco, and synth-pop influences. Founded by childhood bestfriends Angela Martin and Paula Snow.

Bugeye's music, often described as "retro-futuristic," has caught the attention of both critics and fans alike. Their influences range from iconic bands like Blondie, Le Tigre a to disco legends like Donna Summer and the electronic pioneers Kraftwerk. This eclectic mix gives Bugeye a distinctive sound that stands out in the indie rock landscape.

Their 2020 album, "Ready Steady Bang," released via Reckless Yes Records, marked a significant milestone, showcasing the band's matured sound and their ability to craft catchy, thought-provoking songs. Tracks like "Don’t Stop" and "When the Lights Go Out" highlight their knack for combining upbeat melodies with socially conscious lyrics.

Bugeye's impact on the indie music scene is marked by their dedication to authenticity and innovation. They have been praised for their ability to evolve while maintaining their unique sound. Their music often addresses themes of social justice, gender equality, and personal empowerment, resonating deeply with their audience.

Bangzz

BANGZZ is a snarling, two-piece, garage punk band from the US. Their sound has been described as “confrontational femme-punk that weds a Stooges stomp to five-alarm-blaze-yelps” and a “brand of punk noir” that is “all scuzzy irreverent riot girl catharsis.” The project began as the stormy brainchild of Japanese-American guitarist, Erika Kobayashi Libero, and became a live force with the addition of drummer Jess Caesar. Planting firm roots in the East Coast Punk scene, the band began turning heads with their campy music videos and explosive live shows while opening up for acts like Wednesday, Mannequin Pussy, Screaming Females, The Gories, Guerilla Toss, The HIRS Collective, Skating Polly, Soul Glo and more. Their album "You Took My Body Long Ago and Now I am Taking it Back", was hailed by INDY Week as “one of the most exciting full-length Triangle debuts”. Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill discovered the bandʼs ramen-encrusted music video for their single, “Hell is Other People” and shared it on social media with the comment “Thank You” and said of the duo, “This is the future and now colliding!”

Murder Club

Their latest EP “The Night Out” is a fizzy, fun, and fresh collection of songs which track the journey of a typical night out.Murder Club are a four piece riot-grrrl-informed indie-pop/rock outfit from Newport, South Wales. Formed in December 2020, the girls’ crowd pleasing, sugary-sweet punky sound takes inspiration from the likes of Hole and Boygenius to create the perfect soundscape for them to explore the realities of being a 21st Century woman with honesty, humour, and guts.

Nova scotia

Nova Scotia is a Cardiff based shoegaze-grunge inspired alternative band. Formed in 2022, Ophelia (Vocals), Conor (Guitar), Libby (Drums), Jack (Guitar), and Cody (Bass) attended university together and quickly found common influences such as slowdive, Deftones, Basement and Paramore. Their debut single “Wire Mother” was released independently and has had radio plays on shows such as Adam Walton’s BBC show and was described as “...I love the fact that it sounds like slowdive and Deftones... ...Brilliant!”. Their second single recently released, “Pretty Lies” further expands on the artist’s sound, with a hooky chorus, fast drums, and delicate ambient soundscapes. Actively gigging around Wales and England, Nova Scotia are looking to expand into more areas around the United Kingdom and Europe.

Inspired by the earth and the cosmic mysteries of life, VENIOR has unleashed her unique style, which she describes as "Freeky Punky Pop. Dressed in her own recycled “trashion” designs, VENIOR aims to challenge the status quo and be part of a movement for change. Her mission is to take you on a transformative journey, inspiring you to connect with your inner magical and powerful being and awaken curiosity to explore life in extraordinary ways. VENIOR, first emerged in 2015 and created a buzz with songs like “Sugar Rush” and “Na Na Na”. She’s travelled the world working with top producers and artists like Nova Wav (Beyonce, Rihanna), Zara Larsson, LP and Kumi Koda. 2021 saw the release of VENIOR’s debut EP “Free-K” and her full-length album Free-K Revolution dropped early 2023 - a sonic trip about system change, activism, cosmic dreams and the future.
