Richly regal and with an insatiable appetite to defy expectation, Mr Bewlay is in a lane of his own. Reimagining the scope of what an individual artist can achieve, Mr Bewlay has held control over his image and artistry with an ironclad grip. From organising circus performances to multi-layered kabuki theatrics, Bewlay has done it all. His Introductory EP ‘Electric Reason’ set the stage for the bombastic, with follow ups ‘Black Reason’ adding a touch of chaos and ‘Against All Reason’ bringing it all back home.

Championed by the likes of Louder Than War, God is in the TV and Buzz and repeated plays via Huw Stephens and Amy Lame on BBC 6Music, Bewlay takes every facet of art, and warps it into his own image.

Josh has become an alchemist with his contemporary yet timeless pop sound infused with soulful jazz influences. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Adele, Duffy, and Ella Fitzgerald, his vocals are both powerful and emotive.
