Pattern Pusher are a band from the South West of England. Holding their own against a sea of guitars, the trio stack nostalgic keyboard sounds and layers of effects to create their own brand of alt-rock.

After cementing themselves as a euphoric live act, one not to miss, the band turned their attention studio-wards. Honing debut album, The Great Letting Go, for the past two years in their Exeter studio.

Some of the first ideas can be traced back to a hazy summer’s afternoon deep in Cornwall where the band, waiting for their gig to begin, huddled over drinks and a guitar birthing the album’s title & song Miss You On Sundays. A contrast to when the boys wrote The Hills, watching blizzards blow from the warmth of their alpine chalet in French town Morzine, Ben C drumming along with wooden spoons.

These travels and experiences bleed into the music, saturating it with psychedelic moments, performed with enthusiasm akin to the 90s Britpop movement. Dynamics await the listener, with explosive Edge Of The World making way for shadowy Hotel Room. Analogue & warm live takes merge with digital processing in a sonic collage exploring the line between production & performance.

Alex, Ben & Benjamin’s journey has led them to share stages with Wolf Alice, Supergrass & The Lottery Winners, play Boardmasters, Leopallooza & Bearded Theory and tour across the country.

Pattern Pusher have grown, exploring a new heartfelt, steeped side to the unbridled joy of their early years. Expect contrasting emotions, higher highs and new depths.
