Stand Up For Trans Rights - Comedy Event

Live Comedy returns to Le Pub this June with a night of stand up in support of trans rights.

Leicester Comedian Of The Year Nominee June Tuesday will perform her hilarious Edinburgh festival show, Comic Trans. Not only is the show full of her typical biting wit, it’s based around a series of events that happened right here in Newport. 

Support comes from Louise Leigh (“A Lorry load of hilarious stories”-Chortle), Claire Fitzgerald and returning host Chris Chopping(“Hilarious”-Paul Sinha). The night, one of several across Wales, is a show of support for trans rights from the Welsh comedy community. All proceeds will go to The Good Law Project’s Trans Rights Fighting Fund.
