The Origin of Machines are a bass driven 4 piece alt-rock band hailing from the Rhondda who are quickly making a name for themselves on the local scene despite only having done a handful of gigs so far, their influences are predominantly rooted in Rock, Metal and Punk but also encompass Pop, Hip-Hop, Industrial and EDM. Once described as "X-ray Spex meets Hawkwind", their shows are very anarchic and audience interactive (just don't eat the plasticine!) and those with arachnophobia are advised to stand at the back.
